Infinix has officially launched the Infinix Hot 60i 5G, just a month after introducing its 4G variant in July. The new smartphone is designed to deliver next-generation connectivity at an affordable price, packed with powerful features that make it stand out in the budget 5G segment.

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, ensuring smooth performance for everyday multitasking and gaming. It runs on Android 15-based XOS 15.1 and comes with 4GB of RAM alongside 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

On the display front, the device features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 670 nits peak brightness. Unlike the 4G model, which had a punch-hole design, the 5G version opts for a notch housing a 5MP selfie camera, slightly reduced from the 8MP sensor on its predecessor.

Turning to the rear, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G sports a dual-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary lens. While Infinix has not disclosed details about the secondary sensor, it is expected to serve as an auxiliary camera.

One of the biggest upgrades is the 6,000mAh battery, offering extended usage compared to the 4G variant’s 5,160mAh cell. However, charging speeds drop from 45W fast charging on the 4G model to 18W charging on the 5G edition. The phone does support 10W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other devices on the go.

Additional highlights include Infinix AI, a dedicated microSD card slot, IP64 water and dust resistance, an IR blaster, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is available in Shadow Blue, Sleek Black, Monsoon Green, and Plum Red color options. Priced at INR 9,299 (approx. $105/€90), the device is already on sale via Infinix’s official website and will hit retail stores and Flipkart starting August 21.

With its combination of affordable pricing, massive battery, and 5G connectivity, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G is set to be a strong contender in the budget smartphone market.
