Pakistan’s national hockey players have converged at the renowned Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium, nestled within the prestigious Pakistan Sports Complex, to kick off a rigorous training camp.

Organized under the guidance of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), this camp is in high gear, generating excitement for the impending Asian Games.

The spotlight is on Hangzhou, China, where the Asian Games are scheduled to take place from September 23 to October 08.

The formidable team that emerges from this demanding training regime will proudly carry Pakistan’s banner on the international platform.

Heading this charge is Olympian Shahnaz Sheikh, serving as both the Camp Commandant and Head Coach. Sheikh revealed that the players are immersed in comprehensive training sessions, both in the morning and evening.

This dual-pronged training approach underscores their unwavering commitment to shine in the upcoming mega event.

The ensemble of 36 players converges from all corners of the nation, each contributing a distinctive blend of skills and enthusiasm.
