Pakistan’s affordable EV market has just welcomed a promising new player — the Inverex Xio, a compact and budget-friendly electric hatchback now officially launched across the country.
Following in the footsteps of electric models like the Honri Ve, BAW BJEV, GuGo, and Dongfeng Box EV, the Xio EV is poised to shake things up by offering practical electric mobility at a more accessible price point.
What Is the Inverex Xio?
Marketed locally as the Inverex Xio and known internationally as the LingBox EV, this 5-door electric hatchback is manufactured in China and targeted at urban users looking for an economical entry into electric driving. The Xio is compact yet feature-rich, making it ideal for city commutes and daily errands.

Each variant is designed to cater to different driving needs, from short-range daily use to longer intra-city commutes.

All three variants feature the same compact dimensions, measuring 3584 mm in length, 1475 mm in width, and 1666 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2455 mm. With a 5-door body and seating for four passengers, the Xio is designed to be both practical and space-efficient.
Performance-wise, the Xio EV offers respectable specs for its class. The EV-140 delivers a driving range of 140 km with a 14.72 kWh LFP battery, while the EV-220 increases this to 220 km with a 19.14 kWh LFP battery.
The highest variant, EV-320, offers a substantial 320 km range with a 31.28 kWh NCM battery. Power output ranges from 15 kW (30 PS) in the base model to 18 kW (35 PS) in the higher trims, with torque figures between 95 Nm and 105 Nm.
The EV-220 and EV-320 also support DC fast charging, taking only 36 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, while all variants support Type 2 AC charging with a 2.8 kW onboard charger.
All Inverex Xio models come with essential safety features, including ABS, EBD, CBC (cornering brake control), a driver-side airbag, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and tyre pressure monitoring.
Vehicle stability assistance is also standard, ensuring safer driving in challenging conditions. For added convenience, the Xio includes reverse parking sensors, a rearview camera, and two driving modes: Standard and Sport.
The interior is designed for comfort and practicality, with fabric seats that include manual adjustments, foldable rear seats, and electric trunk access. Other convenience features include a smart key with remote access, ceiling handle for the co-driver, and an energy recovery system that enhances battery efficiency. Technologically, the Xio doesn’t disappoint.
It offers a 10.1-inch central touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, Android Auto support, Bluetooth connectivity, four speakers, and USB Type-C ports.
Aesthetically, the Inverex Xio is available in four stylish colors: Morning White, Prime Rose Pink, Clean Ash Grey, and Pistachio Green, while the interior remains standard in black across all variants.
The car rides on 15-inch alloy wheels with 165/55 R15 tyres, supported by MacPherson independent front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension. Braking is handled by front disc and rear drum brakes, with a manual handbrake for parking.
With a comprehensive 5-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 120,000 km battery warranty, Inverex is offering solid peace of mind for EV buyers.
