Tecno is all set to expand its budget smartphone portfolio in Pakistan with the upcoming launch of the Spark 40 series.
The lineup includes three new models: Tecno Spark 40, Spark 40 Pro, and Spark 40 Pro+, each catering to users seeking value-for-money smartphones with impressive features.
Display and Design Highlights
The Tecno Spark 40 Pro and Pro+ boast large 6.78-inch AMOLED displays with an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and sharp 1220p+ resolution. The Pro+ version stands out with a premium curved display and an under-display fingerprint sensor for a sleek, modern look.
In contrast, the base Spark 40 model comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen offering HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate—adequate for everyday use. Color options for the series include Ink Black, Moon Titanium, White, Grey, and more.
Powerful Internals with Android 15
Tecno introduces MediaTek’s new Helio G200 chipset in the Spark 40 Pro+, marking a significant performance upgrade, especially for multitasking and gaming. This variant features 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The Spark 40 Pro uses the Helio G100, while the base Spark 40 runs on the Helio G81—both maintaining the same RAM and storage options.
All three devices ship with HiOS 15.1 based on the latest Android 15, offering improved user experience and features.
Camera Capabilities
Photography lovers can expect a 50MP main rear camera across all models. While the Pro and Pro+ have additional auxiliary sensors, Tecno hasn’t specified their exact functions yet. On the front, the Spark 40 sports an 8MP selfie camera, while the Pro and Pro+ offer a sharper 13MP front-facing lens for clearer selfies and video calls.
Battery Life and Charging
All three Spark 40 models come equipped with a robust 5,200mAh battery. The Pro+ leads with support for 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The Spark 40 and Spark 40 Pro support only 45W wired charging.
