Gandhara Industries Limited has officially revised the prices of its Isuzu D-Max pickup trucks in Pakistan, with the top-end variant seeing an increase of up to Rs 415,000.
The price hike took effect from July 1, 2025, and follows the introduction of the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Levy in the Federal Budget 2025–26.
The NEV Levy, along with other inflationary pressures and rising production costs, has triggered a wave of price increases across the local auto industry. Major automakers including Honda, Suzuki, Changan, Hyundai, and Kia have all adjusted their prices in response to the new tax regime and broader economic challenges.
Updated Isuzu D-Max Prices in July 2025
Two key variants of the Isuzu D-Max have received significant price hikes. The flagship D-Max X-Terrain 3.0L now costs Rs 13,390,000, up from Rs 12,975,000, marking a jump of Rs 415,000.
Meanwhile, the D-Max AutoPlus 1.9L has increased by Rs 290,000, now retailing at Rs 10,790,000, compared to its previous price of Rs 10,500,000.
These revised prices are likely to impact market dynamics, as buyers may reconsider their options in the already competitive pickup segment.
Performance and Off-Road Capability
The Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain is engineered for rugged performance, equipped with a 3.0L 4JJ3 turbocharged diesel engine producing 187.4 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.
A 6-speed automatic transmission, 310 mm ground clearance, and 800 mm water-wading depth make it a capable choice for off-road adventures and tough terrains.
Safety and Interior Features
Safety is a key highlight, with the X-Terrain offering advanced features such as ABS, EBD, ESC, Traction Control, Hill Start and Descent Assist, and seven airbags. The vehicle also includes ISOFIX anchors, parking sensors, and an anti-theft immobilizer for enhanced protection.
Inside, the X-Terrain provides premium comfort with Bruno Black leather upholstery, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 9-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and dual-zone climate control.
Stylish Yet Practical Design
The exterior features automatic Bi-LED projector headlamps with DRLs, LED tail lamps, and bold 18-inch matte alloy wheels, blending style with utility.
Despite the steep price hike, the Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain remains a solid contender in the premium pickup market with its blend of performance, safety, and luxury.
