Nishat Group has announced full absorption of the revised GST impact on hybrid vehicles, keeping Jaecoo J5 SHS-H prices unchanged until September 30, 2026.
Nishat Group has announced a price relief measure for customers interested in the Jaecoo J5 SHS-H hybrid SUV, confirming that it will absorb 100% of the recent increase in General Sales Tax (GST) applicable to hybrid vehicles.
Following the issuance of the official government SRO regarding the revised GST structure on hybrid vehicles, the company has decided not to pass the additional tax burden on to customers. As a result, the ex-factory prices of both Jaecoo J5 SHS-H variants will remain unchanged until September 30, 2026.
Jaecoo J5 Hybrid Prices Remain Unchanged
Under the announced offer, the Jaecoo J5 Comfort and Jaecoo J5 Premium will continue to be available at their existing ex-factory prices. The company has confirmed that there will be no increase for either current bookings or new bookings made during the offer period.
The current price of the Jaecoo J5 Comfort is Rs6,699,000, while the Jaecoo J5 Premium is priced at Rs7,699,000. Both variants will maintain these prices until the end of September under the company’s latest customer-focused initiative.
According to the announcement, the price protection applies to both existing and new customers. This means customers who have already booked the vehicle, as well as those making fresh bookings before the deadline, can benefit from the unchanged pricing.
GST Increase Fully Absorbed by Nishat Group
The decision comes after the government revised the applicable GST on hybrid vehicles. Instead of transferring the additional tax cost to buyers through higher vehicle prices, Nishat Group has opted to absorb the full increase.
The company said the move reflects its commitment to maintaining a customer-centric approach and providing value to its customers despite changes in the tax structure.
The price relief is currently valid until September 30, 2026. Customers planning to purchase the Jaecoo J5 SHS-H can therefore secure the existing ex-factory pricing during this period.
