Riyadh, October 19, 2025 – World No. 2 Jannik Sinner of Italy successfully defended his title at the 2025 Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament, defeating World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in straight sets on Saturday night.
In a repeat of last year’s final, Sinner displayed exceptional dominance from the start, breaking Alcaraz’s serve in the opening game and maintaining complete control throughout the match. The Italian star won over 80% of his points on both first and second serves, without facing a single break point. Sinner sealed the victory 6-2, 6-4, securing back-to-back Six Kings Slam titles.
The highly anticipated clash came just a month after their US Open final meeting, where Alcaraz had captured his sixth career Grand Slam title to regain the World No. 1 ranking.
After the match, Alcaraz praised his rival’s remarkable performance, saying, “When Jannik plays at this level, it’s always difficult. Today, he was just too good. I think everyone enjoyed his tennis.” He humorously added, “Sometimes, it feels like he’s playing ping-pong—it’s not easy being on the other side.”
Sinner also commended Alcaraz, calling their rivalry both challenging and motivating. “It’s always a pleasure to share the court with Carlos. Rivalries like ours make the sport better and more exciting,” Sinner said.
Earlier in the day, American Taylor Fritz claimed third place after Novak Djokovic retired due to physical discomfort following a tight first-set tiebreak.
The Six Kings Slam, launched in 2024 as part of Riyadh Season, features six of the world’s top male tennis players in annual exhibition competition.
