Islamabad, November 11, 2025 – Jazz Pakistan, the country’s leading digital operator, has invested over Rs37 billion in the first nine months of 2025 to expand its network capacity, upgrade digital platforms, and strengthen service resilience.
This significant investment fueled broad-based revenue growth across telecom, fintech, and digital services, further advancing Jazz’s transformation into a ServiceCo — an integrated digital services provider focused on connectivity, capability, and innovation.
In the third quarter of 2025, Jazz’s overall revenue rose 14.6% year-on-year (YoY) in local currency, driven by strong telecom performance and sustained digital service expansion. Core telecom revenue climbed 9.8% YoY, supported by a growing customer base and higher data usage. Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) increased 12.3%, reflecting stronger engagement and pricing optimization.
EBITDA surged 27% YoY with margins improving to around 46%, backed by operational efficiency and energy cost stabilization. Jazz’s 4G user base surpassed 55 million (+11.4% YoY), achieving 75.7% penetration, while multiplay users — those using multiple Jazz services — grew 28.6% to represent 38% of the total base.
Digital services led growth with a 28.5% YoY revenue rise. JazzCash grew 32.8%, supported by Mobilink Bank’s 34% surge in revenue through deeper financial inclusion and lending expansion. JazzCash now boasts 20.6 million active users, a 57.8% YoY jump in Gross Transaction Value (GTV) to Rs3.9 trillion, and a 700,000-merchant base, processing over 80% of Raast payments.
Tamasha, Jazz’s entertainment platform, reached 31.8 million monthly active users, boosted by the Asia Cup, Tamasha Pro, and new AI-powered news content. Meanwhile, SIMOSA, the company’s digital self-care app, attracted 21.8 million users and upgraded its AI assistant to an agentic system managing activations and complaints.
Commenting on the performance, Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz and Chairman of Mobilink Bank, stated:
“Jazz’s growth reflects our commitment to transforming connectivity into capability. Through investment in infrastructure, innovation, and people, we are empowering Pakistan’s digital economy and expanding opportunities for all.”
Jazz currently serves over 100 million users through its digital ecosystem, spanning fintech (JazzCash), entertainment (Tamasha), self-care (SIMOSA), InsurTech (FikrFree), cloud & cybersecurity (Garaj), and gaming (GameNow) — reinforcing its position as Pakistan’s leading digital service provider.
