Islamabad, August 26, 2025 – Jazz, Pakistan’s premier digital operator, in collaboration with JazzCash and Mobilink Bank, has announced a pledge of Rs100 million to support flood relief and rehabilitation efforts across the country.
This initiative reflects a strong private-sector commitment to provide both immediate humanitarian assistance and long-term recovery solutions for communities devastated by recent floods.
The support package from Jazz encompasses multiple dimensions. Immediate aid will include free and subsidized telecom services, allowing affected families to remain connected during the crisis. Additionally, JazzCash will launch a matching grant program, doubling customer contributions in partnership with leading welfare organizations to maximize the impact of relief for flood-hit households.
Aamir Ibrahim, CEO Jazz and Chairman Mobilink Bank, emphasized the importance of collective action. “This Rs100 million pledge represents the unified resolve of Jazz, JazzCash, and Mobilink Bank to stand with the nation in its time of need. By leveraging connectivity, digital finance, and sustainable banking, we aim to deliver urgent relief while enabling long-term resilience for flood-affected families,” he stated.
Beyond immediate humanitarian support such as food, medicines, tents, and bedding, Mobilink Bank will lead rehabilitation efforts. These include financing solutions to restore livelihoods, strengthen local economies, and build safeguards against future flood disasters.
Through this integrated approach, Jazz and its partners reaffirm their role as key contributors to national disaster response, ensuring both rapid aid and sustainable recovery for vulnerable communities.
