Jennifer Aniston Reveals Brad Pitt Conversations

Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston has revealed the surprising person she regularly talks to about her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

In a candid interview with Vanity Fair, published Monday, the Friends icon shared that she often chats with Gwyneth Paltrow — who was once engaged to Pitt in the 1990s — about the Oscar-winning actor.

“Ironically, I went to her and Brad’s engagement party,” Aniston recalled. When asked if Pitt ever comes up in their conversations, she smiled and replied, “Oh, of course. How can we not? We’re girls.”

According to Aniston, their conversations go beyond just Pitt. The two women often exchange life advice, discussing everything from health to career moves, asking each other questions like, “What are you doing for this? Do you have a new doctor for that?”

Aniston first met Pitt in 1994 through their managers, but the pair didn’t start dating until 1998. They tied the knot in July 2000 before divorcing in 2005. Pitt later married Angelina Jolie, while Aniston wed Justin Theroux — both marriages also ended in divorce.

Reflecting on her heartbreak, Aniston said, “Just pick yourself up by the bootstraps and keep on walking, girl.” She admitted the divorce dominated headlines for years, adding, “It’s a shame it had to happen, but it happened. And boy, did I take it personally.”

The actress also shared that the relentless public scrutiny was emotionally taxing, noting she didn’t have the “strong enough constitution” to ignore the gossip.

In the same interview, Aniston opened up about her grief over losing her Friends co-star Matthew Perry, revealing she had been mourning him long before his passing in 2023.
