Singer Jessie J is ending 2025 with raw honesty, revealing the emotional toll the year has taken on her. The 37-year-old star described the past 12 months as “heavy and hard,” reflecting on personal lows while navigating life after her breast cancer diagnosis in June.

On Tuesday, December 30, Jessie J shared a tearful selfie on her Instagram Stories, candidly admitting she has felt particularly low this week. She highlighted the often-overlooked struggles many face during the holiday season, writing:

“In a world full of ‘everything is fine, I’m happy, I’m good, life is perfect’ there is grief, hurt, pain, sadness, heartbreak and reflection and processing happening this time of year for many of us, alongside the good and great or on its own.”

Reflecting on 2025, she called it “one of the hardest but most magical years” both personally and professionally. Jessie J noted that stepping back from work allowed her suppressed emotions to surface, saying:

“So I’m crying a lot. Writing s*** down feeling really low tbh. The lowest I have felt in a while. Don’t hold it in people. We are not superhuman or meant to be happy and positive all the time.”
