JMEV

Capital Smart Motors (CSM) is all set to enter the electric sedan market in Pakistan with the launch of the all-electric JMEV Elite, also known globally as the JMEV Yi.

While an official confirmation is still awaited, the brand’s recent teaser images across social media platforms strongly point towards the Elite model — particularly evident from the vehicle’s signature front DRLs and distinctive rear lighting design.

The launch of the JMEV Elite marks part of CSM’s broader electric vehicle strategy in Pakistan. In addition to this EV sedan, the company plans to introduce the Zeekr X electric SUV, Zeekr 009 MPV, and Riddara electric pickup, offering Pakistani consumers a versatile lineup of EVs suited for different needs and preferences.

Internationally, the JMEV Yi is known for its eye-catching coupe-style body paired with a low drag coefficient of 0.267Cd, enhancing both its performance and aerodynamic efficiency. Its design embraces an eco-dynamic aesthetic with sharp, flowing lines and an athletic profile.

Premium exterior features include LED headlamps with adaptive beam technology, flush-mounted electric door handles, and a thermoformed steel-aluminum hybrid frame that ensures lightweight durability and enhanced safety. The vehicle’s hot-formed cage structure incorporates 44 ultra-high-strength steel plates, offering exceptional crash protection.

Inside, the JMEV Elite EV boasts a futuristic cabin inspired by smart home technology. It offers a spacious and comfortable interior, featuring an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual HD displays (10.25-inch and 12.3-inch), and intuitive gesture control.

Another highlight is its advanced thermal management system, equipped with China’s first waste-heat-based air conditioning unit for EVs. This system boosts overall efficiency and increases driving range by up to 30%.

The EV also includes smart features such as car-to-appliance and car-to-car charging, OTA updates with over 20 functions, and three driving modes: Eco, Standard, and Sport. A four-wheel independent suspension system ensures a smooth and stable ride, even on Pakistan’s uneven roads.

With battery safety at its core, the sedan includes a rectangular battery housing and a precisely engineered cell structure for better heat dissipation and longevity.

As Pakistan’s EV sector continues to evolve, the arrival of the JMEV Elite by Capital Smart Motors could play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s electric mobility future.
