In this 45-minute cinematic experience, Kanye West showcases his 9-year-old son as the central figure. The film follows Saint as he battles a group of masked wrestlers using a toy mallet while the album plays in the background. By the conclusion of the film, Saint emerges victorious, standing triumphantly in the wrestling ring.
Kanye West, who also shares three other children—North, Chicago, and Psalm—with Kim Kardashian, further personalized Bully by using a close-up shot of Saint’s face adorned with black and silver grills as the album’s cover art. The rollout of the album was anything but conventional, with Kanye West initially releasing three different versions of Bully, though two were later removed from streaming platforms.
Saint’s involvement in Bully appears fitting given Kanye West’s previous statements regarding his son’s personality, which he has referenced in past interviews. This is not the first time Kanye West has collaborated with his children on a creative project. North West, his eldest daughter, contributed to his Vultures album in 2023, and both North and Chicago appeared in the music video for Bomb, a single from Vultures 2, released in August last year.
Just days before unveiling Bully, Kanye West also shared another track featuring North titled Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine. The song includes a feature from Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing legal issues. Kanye West’s decision to collaborate with his children has sparked both admiration and controversy, particularly in light of reported tensions with Kim Kardashian over the use of their kids in his music projects.
Leading up to the album’s release, Kanye West allegedly clashed with Kim over North’s involvement in a track featuring Diddy. Leaked messages suggested Kim took legal steps to prevent her daughter from being featured in the song. In response, Kanye West made a strong public declaration of resistance, escalating tensions between the former couple.
