Karachi Port Shipping Intelligence Report on August 3, 2023

Karachi, August 3, 2023 – The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) has released its latest Shipping Intelligence report, detailing the ongoing activities at the port.

The report includes information on ships berthed at various wharves, expected sailings and arrivals, as well as recent ship departures.

ALONGSIDE EAST WHARF:

1. Berth No. OP-2: “Chemroad Wing” of East Wind Shipping Company has been actively loading ethanol since July 28, 2023.

2. Berth No. OP-3: “M.T Mardan” owned by Pakistan National Shipping Corp. successfully discharged crude oil on August 2, 2023.

3. Berth No. B-1: “MTM Antwerp” of East Wind Shipping Company has completed discharging and loading containers since July 31, 2023.

4. Berth No. B-4: “Nordrhone” managed by Sea Trade Shipping discharged chickpeas on July 30, 2023.

ALONGSIDE WEST WHARF:

1. Berth No. B-24 / B-25: “Theodore” has completed discharging rock phosphate under the supervision of Wma Shipcare Services on July 28, 2023.

2. Berth No. B-25: “Momentum Phonex” is currently discharging general cargo under Universal Shipping Pvt. Ltd since August 3, 2023.

ALONGSIDE SOUTH WHARF:

1. Berth No. Saptl-3: “Synergy Oakland” is in the process of discharging loaded containers with the assistance of Forbes Shipping Com Pvt. Ltd. The berthing date was not specified.

EXPECTED SAILING:

There are no ships expected to sail on this date.

EXPECTED ARRIVAL:

1. “Clemens Schulte” is anticipated to arrive on August 3, 2023, and will be discharging containers under Ocean Network Express Pakistan Pvt. Ltd.

2. “Msc Tiar II” is also expected to arrive on August 3, 2023, and will discharge containers through Msc Agency Pakistan Pvt. Ltd.

3. “Oocl Savannah” is due to arrive on August 3, 2023, and will be discharging containers under Oocl Pakistan (Pvt) Limited.

4. “Nazmi C” is expected to arrive on August 4, 2023, carrying a load of 13,000 tons of talc powder. The shipping agent handling this vessel is Project Shipping.

SHIP SAILED:

Several ships have already completed their tasks and departed from the port on August 3, 2023. These include:
