Karachi sees pleasant change as night temperatures drop

Pakistan Independence Day 76

Karachi, October 8, 2025 — Karachi, Pakistan’s bustling financial and commercial center, has witnessed a noticeable drop in night temperatures this week, offering residents a much-needed respite from the recent spell of heat.

The cooler evenings have made outdoor activities more enjoyable, while daytime conditions remain warm but tolerable.

According to AccuWeather, the temperature pattern in Karachi is expected to remain consistent for the next three days, with the mercury ranging between 23°C at night and 34°C during the day. Despite the drop in nighttime temperatures, hazy sunshine will continue to dominate the afternoons.

Meteorologists predict that Karachi will experience gentle westerly winds at 9–13 km/h throughout the week, keeping humidity levels manageable. The city’s “RealFeel” temperature is likely to hover around 36°C during the day, though evenings will feel considerably cooler. The maximum UV index remains high at 7.0, suggesting that residents should still take precautions against direct sunlight during peak hours.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Karachi will see mostly clear skies with occasional sunshine, while Friday is expected to bring longer periods of bright weather. No rainfall is forecast, and the pleasant conditions are anticipated to persist through the weekend.

The recent weather shift has been welcomed by citizens, particularly after several weeks of intense heat. Many Karachi residents have taken advantage of the cooler nights to enjoy seaside walks and outdoor gatherings as the city slowly transitions toward its mild autumn season.
