TV personality Katie Price has sparked fresh controversy after making her first public appearance with her new dog, despite growing calls for her to be banned from owning pets.
The mother-of-five introduced her “tiny pooch” to fans earlier this week through Snapchat, where she shared a video of the puppy resting on her shoulder. Days later, Katie Price was photographed arriving at the Spotlight Theatre in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, accompanied by the puppy while on tour with her stage show alongside close friend Kerry Katona.
Katie kept her outfit casual for the evening, while Kerry was spotted wearing a chic cardigan with bow details, paired with wide-leg trousers and a Gucci handbag.
The public appearance comes as an online petition demanding a ban on Katie Price owning pets has surpassed 37,000 signatures, reflecting widespread concern over her history with animals.
Critics have pointed to several incidents, including allegations that Katie put her black dog Rookie at risk during a recent horse ride. Over the years, multiple tragic incidents involving her pets have been reported.
Just last month, Katie lost a kitten after her designer cat Doris gave birth, with the kitten failing to feed properly. In another widely reported case, her German Shepherd was killed in a road accident near her Sussex home on the A24.
This latest loss marked the eighth animal death under her care — intensifying public scrutiny and fueling calls for tighter restrictions on her pet ownership.
