The former glamour model gave evidence at Lewes Crown Court in the trial involving allegations concerning a 13-year-old girl in 2016. Hayler denies all charges.
Katie Price has told a court that she was shocked when she learned of serious allegations against her former husband, Kieran Hayler, and believed the teenage girl involved appeared frightened.
Price gave evidence at Lewes Crown Court on Monday, where Hayler is standing trial over alleged offences involving a 13-year-old girl in 2016.
Hayler faces three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. He denies all the charges, and the allegations have yet to be proven in court.
During her testimony, Price described asking Hayler whether he had “done stuff” with the girl. She told the court that she could not remember his exact response but said he repeatedly insisted that he had done nothing.
Price also discussed messages she exchanged with the girl, who allegedly told her that Hayler had tried to kiss her and said he loved her.
“I could tell that she was, like, afraid,” Price told the court.
The former model also spoke about the personal difficulties she was experiencing at the time. She said she was having a breakdown and needed to seek help at the Priory.
Hayler, meanwhile, has alleged that Price launched a campaign against him following the breakdown of their marriage.
The couple separated in 2018 and finalised their divorce in 2021.
The trial is continuing at Lewes Crown Court. The allegations against Hayler remain unproven, and he maintains his denial of the charges.
