Katy Perry fulfills fans’ dreams with special backstage visit in London

Pop icon Katy Perry made a heartwarming gesture that touched millions of fans around the world. The 40-year-old singer arranged a special backstage meet-and-greet for nine young fans battling severe illnesses before her Lifetimes Tour performance at London’s O2 Arena on October 13.

In an emotional video shared by ITV’s This Morning, the ET hitmaker can be seen entering a private room where the children waited eagerly. Perry took time to speak personally with each child—learning about their hobbies, interests, and dreams—before posing for photos and sharing warm hugs.

One of the children, Florrie Bark, age 9, attended with her mother, Stacy Bark, who expressed deep gratitude for the experience. “They were able to have one day where they weren’t just patients worrying about their next treatment. This will stay with us forever,” Stacy told ITV.

This act of kindness is part of Perry’s ongoing mission through her Firework Foundation, founded in 2018 to inspire and uplift children facing life’s toughest challenges.

Following her sold-out London performance, Perry is continuing her Lifetimes Tour across Europe, with upcoming shows in Paris, Munich, and other major cities. The tour, which kicked off in Mexico City earlier this year, celebrates her latest studio album, 143, marking another milestone in her global pop legacy.
