Supermodel Kendall Jenner has shared her excitement about spending a quieter and more intimate Christmas with her family this year, marking a continued shift away from the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s traditionally extravagant holiday celebrations.
The 30-year-old Kardashians star revealed that, much like last year, the famous family has opted for a smaller Christmas Eve gathering instead of their usual large-scale festivities. Despite the reduced size, Kendall said the family has already begun planning ahead to make the occasion special.
Speaking to People Magazine, Kendall reflected on the change in tradition, explaining that the more intimate celebration has been a welcome experience. “It’s pretty much the usual. Last year, we did a smaller Christmas Eve party, and it was super lovely,” she said. “Usually, they’re kind of these blowouts since I was born, but we’re doing a smaller one again this year, and I’m really happy about it.”
Describing the overall mood, Kendall said this year’s celebration will focus on “cosy vibes,” similar to how the family spent Thanksgiving recently. The holiday was hosted at Kylie Jenner’s home and centered on relaxed, home-style moments rather than grand displays.
A few weeks earlier, Kylie Jenner gave fans a glimpse into their Thanksgiving preparations by sharing photos on Instagram. The images showed Kendall helping in the kitchen by chopping vegetables, Kylie stirring a pot, and a spread that included Hailey Bieber’s much-talked-about cinnamon rolls.
The shift toward intimate gatherings highlights a more personal side of the Kardashian-Jenner family, with Kendall embracing meaningful time together over lavish holiday traditions.
