Kendall Jenner is showing a different side of her creativity, one that has little to do with fashion runways or reality television.
The 29-year-old supermodel and television personality recently opened up about her deep passion for designing and renovating homes, hinting that she may one day step away from the spotlight to pursue this interest full time.
In a candid conversation for Vogue’s October cover story, Jenner was asked about her life beyond the upcoming seventh season of Hulu’s The Kardashians. Without hesitation, she admitted that home design has become her biggest personal passion. “I swear to God, I’m going to stop everything and just design homes,” she said. “I’m not kidding. I love my LA space, but I also really enjoy the simple life—waking up in a bathing suit or sweatpants, no makeup, and just letting the day unfold.”
Her love for this craft isn’t a passing thought. Fellow model Gigi Hadid vouched for her eye for design, saying, “She’s one of the only people I would trust to design a house for me.” This endorsement further underscores that Jenner’s talent goes beyond casual interest.
In fact, back in October 2022, Jenner had already shared her enthusiasm for house flipping during an episode of The Kardashians. She explained to her friend Fai Khadra that modeling, while successful, often left her feeling creatively limited. Designing homes, on the other hand, gave her the freedom to express her own vision and take charge of projects.
Currently, Jenner is building a home in West, away from the bustle of Los Angeles—turning her dream into reality.
