Reality TV star and entrepreneur Khloé Kardashian has once again shown her signature poise and kindness, this time in response to Savannah Guthrie’s public apology for a controversial interview moment from over a decade ago.

During the October 20 episode of NBC’s Today, Guthrie, 53, reflected on one of her most regrettable career moments — a 2012 interview where she asked Khloé to address long-standing rumors about her paternity. At the time, speculation swirled online questioning whether Robert Kardashian Sr., the late ex-husband of Kris Jenner, was truly Khloé’s biological father.

“I still cringe when I think about it,” Guthrie admitted. “I felt pressure from producers to ask a ‘juicy’ question and ended up asking Khloé, just before a commercial break, if the rumors about her father were true. It remains one of my most embarrassing moments on air.”

Khloé, 41, responded with remarkable grace through a comment shared on E! News’ Kards Katch Up Instagram page, writing, “She’s a doll! It takes a big person to take accountability, and I just love her!” followed by heart and crown emojis.

Back in 2012, Khloé had handled the awkward moment with humor, quipping, “I don’t know who my daddy is, I guess,” a response that Guthrie recently praised as “classy and light-hearted.”

The Good American founder has previously spoken about the emotional weight of discussing her late father. On her Khloé in Wonderland podcast, she revealed that being “pushed” to talk about him during the early years of Keeping Up with the Kardashians was difficult but ultimately healing.

“It felt like a huge burden lifted off me after I finally opened up about it,” she shared.

Khloé’s compassionate response and Guthrie’s public reflection have been widely praised by fans as a powerful example of growth, empathy, and forgiveness in the spotlight.
