The KIA EV5 is available in two variants, each equipped with advanced features tailored to different driving styles:
KIA EV5 AIR: Priced at Rs 18,500,000
KIA EV5 EARTH: Priced at Rs 23,500,000
Performance and Range
AIR Variant: Equipped with a 160kW front-wheel-drive motor delivering 310Nm torque, the AIR variant accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and offers a range of 490 km on a single charge, making it ideal for urban and intercity travel.
EARTH Variant: Powered by an all-wheel-drive system, the EARTH variant combines 230kW power and 480Nm torque, reaching 0-100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds with a robust 620 km range, perfect for long-distance drives.
Charging Capabilities
AIR Variant: Charges in approximately 9 hours and 43 minutes with a 6.6kW charger (10%-100%).
EARTH Variant: Fully charges in around 8 hours with an 11kW charger.
Both variants support rapid charging options. With a 50kW charger, the AIR variant charges from 10%-80% in 57 minutes, while the EARTH variant takes about 72 minutes. A 350kW fast charger brings both variants to 80% in just 36 minutes, minimizing downtime.
Design and Comfort
The KIA EV5 boasts sleek LED headlights, daytime running lights, and LED taillights for added style and visibility. Both variants feature power-adjustable mirrors, with the EARTH variant also offering a panoramic sunroof and power tailgate.
The AIR variant includes 18-inch alloy wheels and a combination of fabric and artificial leather seats, while the EARTH variant upgrades to 19-inch alloy wheels and premium artificial leather seating. Interior technology includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a head-up display for an immersive driving experience.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Safety is a top priority with the KIA EV5, which includes ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, and Hill Start Assist. Both variants come with six airbags, a rearview camera, and parking sensors, with the EARTH variant adding advanced driver assistance systems for enhanced road safety.
