KIA Pakistan has increased the prices of its vehicle lineup in Pakistan, with effect from July 1, 2025. The company attributes the price hike to several economic challenges, including the NEV Levy imposed in the Federal Budget, currency depreciation, and rising international freight costs. The new prices reflect increases of up to Rs 700,000.
New Price of KIA Picanto
The KIA Picanto AT, a popular city car, now costs Rs 4,090,000, up from its previous price of Rs 3,940,000. This marks an increase of Rs 150,000, likely to impact budget-conscious buyers looking for a small and efficient vehicle.
New Price of KIA Stonic
For crossover enthusiasts, the KIA Stonic has seen moderate to significant price adjustments. The Stonic EX has increased by Rs 95,000, now priced at Rs 4,862,000, up from Rs 4,767,000.
The more advanced Stonic EX+ has jumped by Rs 499,000, moving from Rs 5,500,000 to Rs 5,999,000, reflecting its premium features and higher market demand.
New Price of KIA Sportage L
The KIA Sportage, one of Pakistan’s best-selling SUVs, also witnessed sharp increases. The Sportage L Alpha now costs Rs 8,899,000, up from Rs 8,499,000, showing a rise of Rs 400,000.
The Sportage L FWD has gone from Rs 9,999,000 to Rs 10,499,000, while the Sportage L HEV jumped from Rs 10,999,000 to Rs 11,599,000, a hike of Rs 600,000, as hybrid variants gain traction.
New Price of KIA Sorento
The Sorento line experienced various changes depending on variant and payment method. The Sorento 3.5L V6 is now priced at Rs 13,899,000, up from Rs 13,499,000, while the Sorento 3.5L V6 – EMI has also increased from Rs 13,999,000 to Rs 14,399,000 — both rising by Rs 400,000.
The Sorento HEV FWD moved from Rs 14,699,000 to Rs 15,299,000, and the Sorento HEV FWD – EMI from Rs 15,199,000 to Rs 15,799,000, each with a Rs 600,000 jump.
The Sorento HEV AWD now costs Rs 16,699,000, up from Rs 15,999,000, and Sorento HEV AWD – EMI is up from Rs 16,499,000 to Rs 17,199,000, registering the highest increase of Rs 700,000.
New Price of KIA Carnival
The luxury KIA Carnival has also seen a significant hike, now priced at Rs 18,200,000, compared to its earlier rate of Rs 17,500,000, an increase of Rs 700,000. This change may affect premium buyers looking for a high-end family vehicle.
New Price of KIA EV5 and EV9
Meanwhile, prices of electric models remain unchanged. The EV5 Air holds steady at Rs 18,500,000, the EV5 Earth remains at Rs 23,500,000, and the flagship EV9 continues to be priced at Rs 43,200,000, offering relief to those considering an electric vehicle.
