Fifth-generation KIA Sportage facelift expected to replace current model with refreshed styling, upgraded interior, and enhanced features.
KIA Motors Pakistan has officially teased the arrival of a new vehicle that strongly appears to be the facelifted version of the fifth-generation KIA Sportage.
The teaser campaign highlights several design elements, signaling a significant update to one of the brand’s most popular SUVs in the local market.
Currently, KIA Pakistan offers the pre-facelift fifth-generation Sportage. However, the newly teased model is expected to replace the existing version, bringing a refreshed appearance and a host of upgrades inspired by the latest global model.
The company shared a series of teaser visuals showing a partially concealed front grille, redesigned rear LED taillights, and sleek body lines.
These styling cues closely resemble the facelifted KIA Sportage that was unveiled internationally. While KIA has not officially confirmed the model name, the design details strongly suggest that the updated Sportage is preparing to enter the Pakistani market.
Accompanying the teaser, the company stated: “The first glimpse is never the whole story. Watch it unfold, one moment at a time.” The message hints that additional details about the vehicle will be revealed in the coming days.
Although KIA Pakistan has not yet disclosed pricing, specifications, or launch timelines, the global facelifted Sportage provides a strong indication of what buyers can expect.
Kia introduced the updated fifth-generation Sportage globally on November 5, 2024, for the 2026 model year.
The facelift brings a thoroughly revised front fascia featuring newly designed headlights that replace the previous boomerang-style lighting signature.
The front bumper has also been redesigned, giving the SUV a more modern and aggressive appearance.
At the rear, new LED taillight graphics enhance the vehicle’s visual appeal, while fresh exterior color options and redesigned alloy wheels further distinguish the updated model.
Inside the cabin, the facelifted Sportage receives notable upgrades. These include a new two-spoke steering wheel, a curved digital cockpit integrating a digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, redesigned air-conditioning vents, and several new convenience features.
Mechanical improvements are also part of the update. Kia has enhanced front axle damping for improved ride comfort and added extra sound-insulating materials to reduce cabin noise.
In markets equipped with the 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine, the previous seven-speed dual-clutch transmission has been replaced by an eight-speed automatic transmission for smoother performance.
With KIA Pakistan beginning its teaser campaign, the official unveiling of the new Sportage facelift now appears to be just around the corner.
