KIA Lucky Motors has announced a revision in the pricing of its popular compact hatchback, the KIA Picanto Automatic Transmission (AT) variant.
According to an official notice released to dealerships and customers, the new price will come into effect from May 1, 2025, marking a fresh shift in Pakistan’s auto market trends.

Effective next month, the revised ex-factory price of the KIA Picanto AT will be Rs3,940,000, reflecting a notable increase of Rs90,000 from the previous rate of Rs3,850,000. This change places the Picanto AT slightly higher in the budget hatchback category, a segment where it competes with other compact cars from both local and international manufacturers.
Conditions for Customers
KIA has confirmed that price protection will apply to all Picanto AT bookings made and fully paid for on or before April 30, 2025. These customers will still be eligible for the earlier price of Rs3,850,000. However, any new bookings placed on or after May 1, 2025, will be subject to the revised price.
The prices mentioned are exclusive of freight and insurance charges, and government-imposed taxes or duties at the time of delivery will be borne by the customer.

While KIA has not offered detailed reasoning behind the price adjustment, the company attributes it to “changing market dynamics” and a commitment to “providing premium value and performance.” Fluctuations in the exchange rate, increases in material and logistics costs, and new taxation policies are all factors currently influencing vehicle prices across Pakistan.
