KIA Pakistan has revised the prices of its entire vehicle lineup effective July 1, 2025, citing economic pressures such as the newly introduced NEV Levy in the Federal Budget 2025–26, currency devaluation, and soaring global freight charges.
While most KIA models have seen substantial increases — as high as Rs 700,000 — the Stonic EX variant experienced the smallest hike, rising by just Rs 95,000.
Latest KIA Stonic Prices in Pakistan
As per the updated prices, the KIA Stonic EX now costs Rs 4,862,000, up from its previous price of Rs 4,767,000, indicating a price hike of Rs 95,000.
In contrast, the higher-end Stonic EX+ has witnessed a significant jump of Rs 499,000, pushing its price from Rs 5,500,000 to Rs 5,999,000.
The price gap between the two trims continues to grow, making the EX variant an appealing option for budget-conscious buyers looking for style, performance, and value.
KIA Stonic EX Reintroduced for Budget-Friendly Segment
Earlier this year, KIA Pakistan officially reintroduced the Stonic EX variant into its local portfolio after previously discontinuing it in favor of the more premium EX+ model.
The return of the EX trim was initially welcomed due to its attractive Rs 4,767,000 price tag, aimed at customers seeking a compact SUV with modern features at a more accessible price point. However, the recent adjustment now places it closer to the Rs 4.9 million mark.
The reintroduction of the Stonic EX reflects KIA’s strategic shift to cater to the growing demand for affordable yet well-equipped vehicles in Pakistan.
Despite the latest hike, the Stonic EX remains competitively priced in the compact SUV market, offering an ideal balance of performance, design, and technology.
Final Take
While price hikes across the automotive sector have become inevitable due to external economic factors, KIA Pakistan’s decision to keep the increase in the Stonic EX variant minimal could help maintain its appeal among middle-income buyers.
The EX model continues to be a cost-effective alternative to the EX+ for those prioritizing essential features and fuel-efficient performance without stretching their budget too far.
