Kia Corporation has taken a bold step in its electrification journey by unveiling the all-new EV4 and Concept EV2 at the Kia EV Day 2025 in Tarragona, Spain.

These innovative models mark a significant expansion of Kia’s electric vehicle (EV) lineup, aiming to accelerate the global shift toward sustainable mobility. While the EV4 introduces a dynamic electric sedan and hatchback option, the Concept EV2 offers a glimpse into the future of compact electric SUVs.

Kia EV4: A Game-Changer in the C-Segment

Scheduled for a global launch in 2025, with its debut in South Korea in March, the Kia EV4 is set to redefine the C-segment. This all-electric model merges practicality with cutting-edge technology, targeting mainstream consumers looking for a reliable and stylish EV.

Battery Options: 58.3 kWh standard and 81.4 kWh long-range variants.

Driving Range: Up to 630 km (WLTP) with the long-range battery.

Performance: Equipped with a 150 kW motor, achieving 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds.

Charging: Supports 400V E-GMP platform, enabling a 10-80% charge in just 31 minutes.

Technology & Features: Includes V2L, V2G, Digital Key 2.0, i-Pedal 3.0, and a 30-inch widescreen display.

Safety Ratings: Aiming for top ratings from Euro NCAP, US NCAP, and IIHS.

Designed for efficiency, the EV4 boasts a sleek aerodynamic structure with a drag coefficient of just 0.23 Cd. The cabin prioritizes comfort and connectivity, featuring a 30-inch widescreen infotainment system with streaming services like Netflix and YouTube. Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2), enhance the driving experience.

Kia’s Concept EV2 previews an upcoming B-segment electric SUV tailored for urban mobility. With a bold design and advanced technology, it aims to attract young, tech-savvy consumers seeking a flexible and eco-friendly vehicle.
