Reality television star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian is expanding her entertainment portfolio with a Broadway producing debut for The Fear of 13, a stage adaptation of the acclaimed 2015 documentary about wrongful conviction and criminal justice reform.

Kardashian has joined the producing team of the play, which is based on the story of Nick Yarris, a man who spent 22 years on death row before being exonerated through DNA evidence.

The production stars actors Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson and explores systemic failures within the justice system alongside themes of identity, loss and redemption.

“For the past decade, criminal justice reform has been a deeply personal mission of mine,” Kardashian said in a statement. “I couldn’t be prouder to make my Broadway producing debut with a project that carries such vital weight.”

The move marks Kardashian’s latest step into scripted entertainment and advocacy-driven projects, building on her ongoing involvement in criminal justice reform initiatives in the United States.

It also follows her recent acting role in Ryan Murphy’s series All’s Fair, where she appeared alongside Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash-Betts, further expanding her presence in Hollywood beyond reality television and business ventures.

Industry observers say Kardashian’s entry into Broadway production reflects a broader trend of celebrity diversification into theatre and prestige storytelling formats, particularly projects with social or political themes.

Offstage, Kardashian has also attracted media attention following a public appearance at Coachella 2026 with Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton. The pair, who have reportedly been linked romantically since earlier this year, were seen together during Justin Bieber’s headlining set.

Kardashian was joined at the festival by her daughter North West, making the outing a family appearance that drew further public interest.

The Fear of 13 adds to Kardashian’s growing list of entertainment and business ventures, underscoring her continued evolution from reality television star to producer, actress and activist-focused public figure.
