Reality star opens up about early pregnancy fears and health complications

Kylie Jenner has revealed that she was afraid to tell her parents, Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner, about her first pregnancy when she was still a teenager.

Speaking on the Therapuss podcast hosted by Jake Shane, the Kylie Cosmetics founder said she was “freaking out” after discovering she was pregnant at the age of 19.

“I was really scared to tell my parents,” she said, adding that the fear was overwhelming in the early stages of the pregnancy.

Despite her anxiety, Jenner said her parents did not react angrily when she eventually told them. She also reflected on her determination to become a mother regardless of external opinions or support.

“There was something just inside of me that knew that I wanted to do this,” she said, adding that she made the decision independently even if she had to face it alone.

Jenner gave birth to her first child, daughter Stormi Webster, at the age of 20. She later welcomed her son Aire Webster in 2020 with rapper Travis Scott, whom she dated on and off between 2017 and 2023.

The entrepreneur is currently reported to be in a relationship with actor Timothée Chalamet.

During the same interview, Jenner also discussed medical complications during her second pregnancy, saying she experienced severe sciatica and back pain that left her unable to walk at around 12 weeks.

She added that she was placed on bed rest later in her pregnancy after doctors found she was already dilated.

“I had … sciatica pain and lower back pain,” she said, describing the physical challenges she faced during the pregnancy.

Jenner said she remained on bed rest for weeks as doctors monitored her condition closely due to concerns about early labor.

Despite the complications, she said she remained focused on safely delivering her son and managing the difficult pregnancy period.
