Kylie Jenner Sued by Former Employee Over Miscarriage

Entertainment

Kylie Jenner is facing legal action after a former employee accused the reality television star and entrepreneur of maintaining working conditions that allegedly contributed to a miscarriage during her pregnancy.

According to court documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times, the woman, who worked as a chef for Jenner, claims she was subjected to demanding work schedules that included 11- to 12-hour shifts, five days a week, while pregnant.

The lawsuit alleges that in February 2025, when the employee was five months pregnant, she was required to work at a Jenner family birthday celebration without adequate assistance. The plaintiff claims she repeatedly raised concerns about her workload and requested support but was ignored by supervisors.

According to the filing, the employee became overwhelmed during the event and broke down emotionally in a bathroom due to exhaustion and physical strain. The lawsuit states that she experienced severe fatigue following the gathering and woke up the next day suffering from heavy bleeding.

The woman alleges she drove herself to a hospital, where medical staff informed her that there was no detectable fetal heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child.

The lawsuit further claims the incident resulted in significant emotional distress and depression. The former employee alleges that after the miscarriage, a supervisor reprimanded her and instructed her to stop expressing her emotions because it was upsetting Jenner.

The legal action adds to a growing list of workplace-related complaints involving Jenner. In recent months, two other former employees have filed lawsuits against the Kylie Cosmetics founder, alleging workplace misconduct, including discrimination and harassment.

In May, former employee Juana Delgado Soto filed a lawsuit claiming racial discrimination and racial harassment during her employment. Earlier, in April, another former staff member, Angelica Vasquez, brought legal action alleging harassment and discrimination.

As of now, Jenner has not publicly responded to the latest allegations. The claims made in the lawsuits have not been proven in court, and no judgment has been issued regarding the accusations.

The case is expected to draw significant attention as legal proceedings move forward.
