Lady Gaga Reveals Her Next Dream Role: Motherhood

Entertainment World

Lady Gaga has once again captured the spotlight, but this time for a deeply personal revelation — her desire to embrace motherhood.

Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 39-year-old pop icon shared that while she continues to explore Broadway and other creative avenues, her ultimate dream now extends far beyond the stage. “I would like to do many things, yes, all of these things,” Gaga admitted, “but what I really want is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.”

The Oscar and Grammy-winning superstar has been in a relationship with entrepreneur Michael Polansky, 42, since 2019. Their introduction came through Gaga’s mother, who confidently told her daughter, “I think I met your husband.” Since then, the couple has built a strong partnership rooted in love, loyalty, and shared growth.

“He’s my best friend in the whole world,” Gaga said warmly, adding that Polansky “fights for me every day” and has been a constant source of strength during some of the most difficult times in her life. Their bond has not only nurtured her personally but also creatively, influencing projects like Harlequin, her jazz soundtrack for Joker: Folie à Deux, as well as her latest album, Mayhem.

Even their engagement carried her signature flair for artistry — Polansky proposed during a hike, using a single blade of grass as a symbol of their love, inspiring the heartfelt track Blade of Grass.

For Gaga, the stage may always shine, but her eyes are now set on life’s most meaningful role yet — becoming a mother.
