In a revolutionary move, Lamborghini has unveiled its latest creation: Revuelto, the world’s first Lamborghini High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) in the super sports car category.
Celebrating the marque’s 60th anniversary, Revuelto sets a new standard for performance, sportiness, and driving pleasure with its cutting-edge architecture, innovative design, efficient aerodynamics, and a groundbreaking carbon frame concept. With an impressive output of 1015 CV, Revuelto combines the power of an all-new combustion engine and three electric motors, introducing the first-ever double-clutch gearbox for a 12-cylinder Lamborghini.
The powertrain boasts high specific power elements, with a new 127 CV/liter combustion engine working in tandem with two front axial flux motors, resulting in an exceptional weight-to-power ratio. Additionally, a radial flux electric motor is integrated into the brand-new eight-speed double-clutch transmission, a remarkable first for a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. These three electric motors are efficiently powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, known for its high specific power of 4500 W/kg, and also provide support for a fully electric driving mode.

The engine layout of Revuelto showcases unprecedented design ingenuity, featuring a mid-mounted 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, complemented by three electric motors. Two of these motors are positioned on the front e-axle, while the third is ingeniously integrated into the novel eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
This configuration allows for optimal use of space, with the transmission placed transversely behind the V12 engine, leaving room in the tunnel for the high-specific-power lithium-ion battery that powers the electric motors. With the incorporation of a wet double clutch, Revuelto efficiently manages the impressive torque of 725 Nm at 6750 rpm generated by its internal combustion engine.
On the exterior, Revuelto exemplifies the future of Lamborghini’s design language, seamlessly blending elements inspired by aerospace aesthetics with a muscular and animalistic presence. The car’s front fascia features a shark-nose design, with a broad monolithic carbon-fiber hood and distinctive Y-shaped daytime running lights.
The aerodynamic blades connecting the splitter to the hood accentuate the sharp and powerful look. Side fins behind the front wheel arches direct airflow along the sides, while the concavities of the doors lead to side air intakes with striking sharp edges, reminiscent of the front design.
