Karachi, September 14, 2025 – The latest currency rates in Pakistan have been issued for Sunday, September 14, 2025. Since Sunday is a weekly holiday, these figures represent the closing rates from Saturday’s trading session.
The foreign exchange market plays a vital role in Pakistan’s economy, as businesses, importers, and overseas Pakistanis closely track daily fluctuations in currency values.
The US Dollar (USD) closed steady at Rs282.6 for buying and Rs282.9 for selling, continuing to be the most watched currency. The UK Pound Sterling (GBP) retained its strong position at Rs384 for buying and Rs388 for selling, while the Euro (EUR) traded at Rs332 and Rs336, showing consistent demand in the market.
Gulf currencies also remained stable. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) was recorded at Rs75.4 for buying and Rs76.15 for selling, while the UAE Dirham (AED) traded at Rs77.15 and Rs78. The Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD), considered one of the highest-valued currencies globally, stood at Rs916.9 for buying and Rs925.9 for selling. Similarly, the Omani Riyal (OMR) closed at Rs733.9 and Rs741.4.
Asian currencies presented mixed trends. The Japanese Yen (JPY) hovered between Rs1.89 and Rs1.99, while the Chinese Yuan (CNY) was available at Rs39.36 for buying and Rs39.76 for selling. The Indian Rupee (INR) traded between Rs3.13 and Rs3.22, remaining on the lower side compared to other major currencies.
