Karachi, February 25, 2026 — Exchange companies on Wednesday released the latest exchange rates of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US Dollar (USD) and other major international currencies, providing updated guidance for travelers, businesses, and the general public.
According to the market data, the US Dollar (USD) was traded at Rs280.40 for buying and Rs282.30 for selling in the open currency market. The UK Pound Sterling (GBP) remained among the strongest currencies, quoted at Rs378.06 buying and Rs382.32 selling, while the Euro (EUR) was exchanged at Rs329.92 buying and Rs334.44 selling.
Among Gulf currencies, the Saudi Riyal (SAR) stood at Rs74.75 buying and Rs75.50 selling, while the UAE Dirham (AED) was recorded at Rs76.30 buying and Rs77.30 selling, reflecting stable demand driven by remittances and travel flows.
The exchange rates of other major global currencies, including the Canadian Dollar (CAD), Australian Dollar (AUD), Swiss Franc (CHF), and Japanese Yen (JPY), also witnessed minor fluctuations, in line with international forex market trends and domestic demand-supply dynamics.
Market participants noted that the PKR remained largely stable against major currencies, supported by improved foreign exchange inflows, remittances, and a balanced interbank market.
