Pop sensation Lorde has thrilled her fans around the globe by officially announcing the tour dates for her much-anticipated Ultrasound World Tour. The New Zealand-born singer is preparing to take her signature sound to international stages in celebration of her upcoming fourth studio album, Virgin.
The Royals hitmaker recently revealed that Virgin will be released on June 27, setting the tone for a powerful comeback after a period of relative quiet. To amplify the buzz, Lorde will launch her tour on September 17, kicking off the journey in Austin, Texas.
As part of the North American leg, the chart-topping artist will make stops at iconic venues, including Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. She will wrap up this phase of the tour in Seattle at the Climate Pledge Arena on October 22.
Following her U.S. performances, Lorde will take the stage across Europe, with confirmed shows in France, Germany, and Denmark. The tour is set to conclude with a grand finale in Stockholm, Sweden, on December 9.
Loyal fans can also expect a variety of collaborative performances, as Lorde is set to share the stage with notable artists like Blood Orange, The Japanese House, Nilüfer Yanya, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, Jim-E Stack, and Oklou on select tour dates.
To promote the first single from her upcoming album, titled What Was That, Lorde hosted an exclusive fan event at Washington Square Park in New York City on April 23. There, she premiered the song live and even filmed portions of its music video, building anticipation for what’s to come.
