Master Changan Motors Pakistan is preparing for one of the most aggressive product expansion strategies in the local automotive industry, with plans to introduce 11 new vehicles over the next two years.
The upcoming lineup will span multiple brands and powertrain technologies, including ICE, HEV, PHEV, REEV, and fully electric vehicles, ensuring coverage across nearly every passenger car segment in Pakistan.
In an exclusive discussion with PakWheels, Danial Malik, CEO of Master Changan Motors, shared the company’s long-term vision, highlighting its transformation into a “house of brands.”
This strategy aims to cater to a wide spectrum of customers, ranging from budget-conscious buyers in the A-segment to premium SUV shoppers in the E-segment.
The core philosophy driving this expansion is “One for Everyone,” ensuring that Pakistani consumers have access to modern mobility solutions regardless of budget or usage requirements.
At the center of this plan is Changan, the brand positioned for the mass market. According to Malik, Changan will introduce three new models in the coming years, covering internal combustion engines, hybrid electric vehicles, and plug-in hybrids.
These launches are designed to offer practical, affordable, and fuel-efficient options while aligning with Pakistan’s gradually evolving fuel and charging infrastructure.
On the electrification front, Deepal is set to play a crucial role. The brand has already made headlines with the launch of the Deepal S05, Pakistan’s first locally assembled CKD REEV.
With a claimed total driving range exceeding 1,000 kilometers, the S05 addresses one of the biggest concerns surrounding EV adoption—range anxiety—by offering what the company calls “Range Confidence.”
Looking ahead, Deepal’s portfolio will grow further with the introduction of models such as the E07, Hunter K50, and two additional BEV and REEV vehicles expected next year.
Adding a premium edge to the lineup, Master Changan will also introduce Avatr, its ultra-luxury new energy vehicle brand.
Avatr is focused on delivering futuristic design, advanced electric powertrains, and cutting-edge technology. Three Avatr models are planned for Pakistan, targeting customers seeking a high-end, sophisticated electric driving experience.
With Changan, Deepal, and Avatr collectively bringing 11 new models to the Pakistani market, Master Changan Motors is positioning itself as a key player in shaping the future of mobility. This ambitious rollout not only expands consumer choice but also accelerates the adoption of advanced, cleaner, and smarter vehicle technologies across the country.
