Meghan Markle couldn’t help but express her delight over the charming ways her children resemble their father, Prince Harry. During an upcoming appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, airing on March 6, Meghan Markle shared how their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, have inherited one of their dad’s most endearing traits—his British accent.

In a teaser clip released on March 5, host Drew Barrymore asked Meghan Markle, “What’s your favorite thing that you see in your kids that makes you think, ‘Oh, that’s their dad’?”

“Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent,” Meghan Markle, 43, responded warmly. “They’ll say z-e-b-r-a, and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out because they have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him, and I think it’s adorable.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s eldest child, Archie, was born in London in 2019, before the couple made the decision to step back from royal duties and relocate to California in 2020. Their daughter, Lilibet, was born in the United States the following year, making her the first royal child born in America.

Beyond discussing their accents, Meghan Markle also shared how she maintains a strong connection with her children while traveling. She revealed that she records bedtime stories so that Archie and Lilibet can still hear her voice at night, ensuring they feel her presence even when she’s away.

“You find ways to show up for each other,” Meghan Markle said, relating this sentiment to her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and her recently launched lifestyle brand, As Ever. Both projects reflect her ongoing commitment to family, love, and personal connection.

As Meghan Markle continues to embrace her role as a devoted mother and entrepreneur, her stories about Archie and Lilibet highlight the blend of cultures within their family and the cherished memories they are creating together.
