Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, marked Veterans Day by sharing a moving video of Prince Harry from his time in the British Army, paying tribute to those who have served and continue to serve.

The viral clip, originally from a 2013 interview in Afghanistan, captures the moment when Prince Harry swiftly removes his microphone and runs to respond after a military alarm sounds, highlighting his dedication and professionalism during active service.

Harry served in the British Armed Forces for ten years, from 2005 to 2015, rising to the rank of Captain and completing two tours of duty in Afghanistan.

Taking to Instagram, Meghan wrote,

“As my husband says, ‘Once served. Always serving.’ Thank you to all who served, sacrificed, and continue to serve. Honoring you on Veterans Day. And every day.”

The heartfelt post quickly gained attention online, with fans praising the couple’s continued support for veterans and military families through their foundation, Archewell.

Meghan’s tribute came just hours after Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, made a solo appearance at the Armistice Day Service of Remembrance held at the National Memorial Arboretum’s Armed Forces Memorial in the UK — a ceremony traditionally attended by a member of the British royal family each year.

Both royal women honored the armed forces in their respective ways, symbolizing a shared respect for service and sacrifice.
