Pakistan’s official Apple distributor, Mercantile Pakistan, has officially introduced the new Apple iPhone 17e in the country. The latest iPhone is now available through Mercantile’s authorized reseller network nationwide, offering Apple users a new mid-range flagship option packed with powerful hardware and premium design.
According to the company, the iPhone 17e is priced at Rs. 289,000 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB model costs Rs. 377,500. The device is officially PTA-approved and available at selected retailers across Pakistan.
Premium Design and Display
The iPhone 17e features a compact and elegant design with dimensions of 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.8 mm and a weight of 169 grams, making it comfortable for everyday use. The phone uses Ceramic Shield 2 glass protection on the front, a glass back, and an aluminum frame for durability.
It sports a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels and peak brightness of 1200 nits, delivering vibrant colors and sharp visuals. Apple has also included an anti-reflective coating and improved durability with Mohs level 5 scratch resistance.
A19 Chip Brings Flagship Performance
At the heart of the device is Apple’s latest A19 chipset built on a 3nm process, delivering significant improvements in performance and power efficiency. The processor includes a hexa-core CPU with speeds up to 4.26GHz alongside Apple’s 4-core GPU, ensuring smooth multitasking and gaming performance.
The smartphone ships with iOS 26.3, with support for future updates including iOS 26.4.
Camera and Battery Features
Photography is handled by a 48MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), capable of capturing 4K video with Dolby Vision HDR. For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 12MP front camera with Face ID and advanced depth sensing.
Battery performance is also impressive thanks to the 4005mAh battery, which supports fast wired charging up to 50% in 30 minutes as well as 15W wireless charging via MagSafe and Qi2.
Connectivity and Safety Features
The iPhone 17e supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB-C. It also includes modern Apple safety features such as Emergency SOS and satellite messaging support.
The device comes in Black, White, and Soft Pink color options.
