Islamabad, June 1, 2025 – Although a slight dip in temperatures is expected over the coming days, the weather in Islamabad will remain very hot, according to the latest forecast by AccuWeather.
Residents of the capital should prepare for continued high temperatures and intense sunshine, with only marginal relief from the scorching heat.
The extended forecast shows that the current heatwave gripping Islamabad is not expected to ease significantly. While daytime highs may drop slightly, the overall weather pattern remains largely unchanged — very hot, dry, and sunny. The upcoming week will still be characterized by extreme UV levels and “RealFeel” temperatures that are several degrees higher than the actual readings.
On Sunday, June 1, Islamabad is forecast to experience a high of 39°C and a low of 22°C, with a RealFeel® of 44°C. The UV index remains dangerously high at 12, and wind will be light from the west-southwest. Despite the minor cooling forecast for Monday and Tuesday, the weather in Islamabad will still be considered very hot by local standards.
By midweek, the mercury is projected to slide further — with highs around 32°C to 33°C — but the RealFeel® will continue to make the weather feel very hot, especially during peak afternoon hours. Light winds and hazy sunshine will dominate the skies through the middle of the week, offering little relief from the heat.
As the week progresses toward Friday, temperatures are forecast to climb once again. On June 6, Islamabad could see a high of 38°C with a RealFeel® of 39°C, reinforcing the very hot conditions that have defined the region’s weather recently.
The ongoing heat is being driven by high pressure and dry continental air, common during early June in northern Pakistan. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight during peak hours, and follow health advisories to minimize the risks associated with the very hot weather in Islamabad.
While the mercury may slide briefly, the overall trend suggests that Islamabad will continue to endure very hot weather for the foreseeable future. Stay tuned to official forecasts for any updates or heatwave warnings in the coming days.
