MG Motor Pakistan has officially unveiled its all-new MG U9 Pickup Truck, marking the brand’s entry into the competitive pickup segment in Pakistan.
The MG U9 aims to challenge popular rivals such as the Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, BYD Shark 6, and JAC T9, combining rugged utility with premium comfort and cutting-edge technology.
Launch and Availability
The MG U9 will be showcased at the upcoming Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2025, where its official price and booking details will also be revealed.
Visitors attending the event on November 12th at the Karachi Expo Centre will be able to view and pre-book the truck, with deliveries expected to commence in the first quarter of 2026.
Performance and Capability
The MG U9 comes equipped with a 2.5L Turbo Diesel engine that generates an impressive 215 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque, paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission for smooth gear shifts.
Its 4×4 drivetrain, along with front and rear differential locks, ensures optimal off-road capability and stability.
The truck also boasts a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg and a ground clearance of 220 mm, making it suitable for both tough terrains and urban driving.
Design and Dimensions
The MG U9 commands attention with its bold exterior design, measuring 5500 mm in length, 2265 mm in width, and 1874 mm in height, with a 3300 mm wheelbase. It rides on stylish 20-inch alloy rims, enhancing both aesthetics and performance.

Inside, the MG U9 offers a blend of luxury and comfort, featuring 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and 6-way electric passenger seat.
The heated, ventilated, and massaging driver’s seat ensures exceptional comfort, while rear passengers also enjoy heated seats and rear AC vents.
The cabin includes a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, JBL 8-speaker audio system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
