Los Angeles, December 8, 2025 – Miley Cyrus has added another major achievement to her rapidly expanding awards portfolio, securing a Golden Globe nomination for her new song Dream As One.
The 2026 Golden Globe nominees were announced on Monday, confirming Cyrus’ nomination for Best Original Song for the track featured in James Cameron’s latest blockbuster, Avatar: Fire and Ash.
The nomination marks a significant milestone in Cyrus’ two-decade career, arriving on the heels of her first three Grammy wins earlier this year. The 33-year-old singer celebrated the recognition by releasing the official music video for Dream As One, a collaboration she co-wrote with Andrew Wyatt, Mark Ronson, and Simon Franglen.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Cyrus wrote, “It’s been one beautiful moment after the next lately… so much to celebrate, including our Golden Globe nomination for Dream As One from Avatar: Fire And Ash. It’s been a fantasy come to life being a part of the Avatar adventure.”
She went on to reflect on the personal significance of the song, describing it as a symbol of resilience and transformation. Cyrus appeared to reference the hardships she endured in recent years, including losing her home in the 2018 Los Angeles wildfires and the end of her long-term relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth.
“Feeling grateful for the fire of fate that rebuilt what I wanted in deeper alignment with the needs of my soul. This song has become a symbol of transformation, power, and the entering of a new era for anyone who’s ever risen from their own ashes,” she wrote.
Cyrus concluded her message by expressing love and optimism: “When we dream as one, we create a new reality. I love you.” The Flowers hitmaker is now embracing her own new reality as she prepares to marry her fiancé, Maxx Morando.
As Cyrus continues to rise, her Golden Globe nomination reinforces her evolution from teen sensation to one of the defining vocal and creative forces of her generation.
