Motorola Razr 2024: AI Folds into Cover Display

Motorola is bringing back the iconic Razr with a twist for 2024. This year’s Razr series, known as razr 2024 and razr+ 2024 in the US, boasts a unique feature: AI-powered experiences on the cover display thanks to a partnership with Google.

The Razr 2024 features a usable cover display, even on the standard model. The Razr+ 2024 takes it a step further with a near edge-to-edge 4-inch display, making it one of the largest cover displays available on a foldable phone.

But the real innovation lies in what you can do with this cover display. Motorola has integrated Google’s Gemini AI, allowing users to access powerful features directly from the cover screen.  To enhance the experience, Motorola is bundling a 3-month subscription to Google One AI Premium, which unlocks the full potential of Gemini.

With Gemini, users can manage their Google Photos library directly from the cover display. This includes viewing, deleting, sharing, and favoriting photos and videos, both locally stored and on the cloud. Additionally, popular editing features like Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, and Photo Unblur are accessible.

Gemini’s capabilities extend beyond photos. Photomoji lets you transform your photos into emojis or stickers, while Moto Magic Canvas allows you to create images based on text descriptions. Style Sync lets you generate wallpapers that complement your outfit or surroundings.

The Razr+ 2024 gets an extra perk: Magic Compose. This AI feature helps craft messages in various styles, from casual to formal.

The Motorola Razr 2024 series promises a unique user experience with its large cover displays and Google’s AI integration. This collaboration brings powerful features to a convenient location, making the Razr a compelling option for those seeking an innovative foldable phone.
