Islamabad, January 22, 2026 – Global food and beverage giant Nestlé on Thursday announced a further $60 million investment in Pakistan, reaffirming its long-term commitment to the country.
The announcement was made during a high-level business roundtable on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, chaired by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.
Remy Ejel, Executive Vice President and CEO for Asia, Oceania, and Africa at Nestlé, confirmed that the additional investment will expand the company’s operations in Pakistan and position the country as a regional manufacturing and export hub. Nestlé plans to export products to 26 countries from its Pakistan facilities, highlighting strong confidence in the nation’s economic prospects.
The investment aligns with the government’s ongoing efforts to promote policy predictability, economic formalization, and export-oriented growth. Nestlé has already advanced technology-driven manufacturing in Pakistan, including highly automated facilities, renewable energy adoption, sustainable packaging, and digitalized supply chains, strengthening operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
Ejel emphasized that Pakistan’s growing population, rising nutrition needs, and underdeveloped value-added food segments mirror successful growth patterns observed in Southeast Asia. Senator Aurangzeb welcomed Nestlé’s commitment as a strong vote of confidence in Pakistan’s reforms, noting that the government remains dedicated to strengthening the tax ecosystem, ensuring policy consistency, and supporting responsible long-term investments.
The announcement underscores Pakistan’s potential as a competitive base for regional production, climate-resilient dairy, localized sourcing, and export-oriented manufacturing, offering multinational companies a robust platform for sustainable growth.
