New updates in Toyota Corolla facelift explained as enthusiasts await price announcement

The facelift brings exterior, interior, lighting, connectivity and convenience upgrades while Toyota Corolla prices remain awaited.

Indus Motor Company has introduced the facelifted Toyota Corolla in Pakistan, revealing a range of updates over the outgoing model. While the latest changes have now been detailed, enthusiasts are still waiting for the official price announcement.

The new Toyota Corolla facelift focuses on styling revisions, interior enhancements, improved connectivity and additional convenience features across the lineup.

Redesigned Front and Rear Styling

The most visible Toyota Corolla facelift updates are found at the front and rear. The outgoing model carried the X Package design introduced with the 2021 facelift, while the latest version receives a redesigned grille and revised lower bumper detailing.

Toyota has also introduced a fresh 16-inch machined alloy wheel design for variants equipped with alloy wheels, giving the sedan a more updated appearance.

New Exterior Colour Options

The facelift also brings changes to the colour palette. Strong Blue, Attitude Black and Super White continue, while Silver Metallic has been replaced by Metal Stream Metallic and Graphite Grey by Celestite Grey.

Phantom Brown has been removed from the available colour options.

Black Interior Replaces Beige

Toyota has made a major change inside the cabin by replacing the previous beige interior with an all-black setup across the range. The top-spec variant can additionally be upgraded with Dark Chestnut leather seats, paired with a black dashboard and other interior elements.

Silver interior accents have also been replaced by a combination of Warm Steel and black finishes.

Grande Gets Wireless Smartphone Connectivity

The facelift retains the existing 9-inch capacitive touchscreen, but the Grande variant gains wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Other variants continue with features such as Bluetooth, USB, AUX, radio and MirrorLink connectivity.

Audio System and USB Upgrades

The six-speaker audio system has also been revised. Instead of the locally sourced setup in the outgoing model, the facelift receives six imported speakers along with Panasonic tweeters.

Rear passengers also gain a USB Type-C port alongside the existing Type-A connection, improving charging compatibility with newer devices.

LED Lighting Expanded Across Variants

LED headlamps, DRLs and auto-levelling are now available on every variant except the entry-level model. The rear fog lamp follows the same availability pattern.

Grande Adds Six Parking Sensors

Another notable convenience upgrade is the addition of parking sensors on the Grande. The top variant receives two sensors at the front and four at the rear, providing six sensors in total.

With these updates revealed, attention now shifts toward the Toyota Corolla facelift price, which remains the key detail awaited by prospective buyers and enthusiasts.
