Nicole Kidman is reportedly contemplating a major life change following her split from country music star Keith Urban. The Oscar-winning actress recently finalized a custody agreement, granting her primary care of their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.
Insiders suggest that Kidman could relocate back to her native Australia, now that she has full custody. “Nicole pretty much has full custody of the girls, so there’s really nothing to stop her from packing up and moving wherever she wants with them,” a source told Radar Online.
Kidman had previously lived in Nashville to support Urban’s career. However, now that her daughters are older and independent, the actress has little reason to remain in the U.S. Six months ago, she reportedly considered settling in Portugal, but a recent visit home over the holidays has made Australia feel like a more natural choice.
“She’s feeling quite unmoored these days and feels a big pull back home,” an insider added. Both Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret are close to Kidman’s family in Australia and are reportedly supportive of the move. “More than anything, they want her to be happy, but they love it in Australia as well,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Urban is said to be struggling with the realities of the separation. “Having his kids so far away is going to be very tough,” a source noted. Accepting Kidman moving across the globe could be a challenge for the former couple, who divorced after 19 years of marriage.
If Kidman does move back to Australia, it could mark a significant new chapter in her personal life, prioritizing her family and reconnecting with her roots while maintaining her Hollywood career.
