Sunday Rose, daughter of acclaimed actress Nicole Kidman, recently made her highly anticipated runway debut for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week. Proud mother Nicole Kidman expressed her admiration for Sunday’s impressive entry into the fashion world, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on December 4.
The 16-year-old walked the runway for Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2025 collection on October 1, captivating the audience in a chic sleeveless white dress layered over a swimsuit, paired with black knee-high socks and pumps. Kidman revealed that Sunday’s decision to step into the modeling spotlight was entirely her own. “That’s all driven by her,” Nicole Kidman, 57, shared. “I was hesitant at first, thinking, ‘Oh no, I don’t think so,’ but she was determined.”
The opportunity arose when Miu Miu founder and creative director Miuccia Prada personally invited Sunday to participate in the show. According to Kidman, Prada was immediately drawn to Sunday’s unique presence. “Miuccia just loved her,” Nicole Kidman said, adding that the connection felt natural and empowering. “Miuccia is such a powerful woman, so it was a great match.”
Sunday’s debut placed her alongside notable figures such as Willem Dafoe, Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne, and Hilary Swank, further cementing her place in the high-fashion world. Kidman reflected on her own long-standing relationship with Prada, recalling her early experiences with the designer at the start of her acting career. “I’ve been in this industry for a while,” Kidman said, reminiscing about her first interactions with Prada at age 23.
Sunday, the eldest daughter of Kidman and her husband, musician Keith Urban, shared her excitement about the milestone in a behind-the-scenes TikTok video for Vogue. “I’ve been wanting to do this for so long,” Sunday said. “When the offer came, I was thrilled. And now the day’s finally here.”
Kidman, a celebrated Hollywood star, couldn’t be prouder of her daughter’s first step into the world of fashion, showcasing the blend of talent and individuality that runs in the family.
