Nicole Kidman is opening up about the unpredictable nature of success in Hollywood, emphasizing how a single opportunity can transform an artist’s entire career. In a candid conversation with Ariana Grande for Interview magazine, the Oscar-winning actress explained that performers often live “on the precipice” of their next big break.

Kidman highlighted the reality that countless talented individuals never receive the opportunity they deserve. “There are so many people that want to do it and are [extremely] talented, and just don’t get the lucky break,” she said. Yet she believes the entertainment industry still holds room for miracles. “Sometimes that lucky break can just fall from the heavens and your whole life changes.”

The Babygirl star reflected on friends who achieved success later in life, noting that years of hard work can suddenly pay off in unexpected ways.

Nicole also touched on her approach to guiding others in the industry. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said she avoids giving direct advice, preferring instead to share her own experiences. “I’m not big on telling people what to do, but I’m more than happy to share. Then, people can take tidbits because they’re going to do what they want anyway.”

The Holland actress further spoke about learning to embrace features she once disliked, including her fair skin and tall stature. Though she once saw them as flaws, she now appreciates how they contribute to her identity and on-screen presence.

Kidman’s reflections highlight her gratitude, honesty, and continued personal growth throughout her remarkable career.
