The horror film character will appear at Universal Studios Hollywood during the 2026 Halloween event.
Nikki, the central character from the horror film Obsession, is coming to life at Universal Studios Hollywood as part of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
Universal Studios Hollywood announced Nikki’s appearance during its Halloween Horror Nights panel at Midsummer Scream on August 9, 2026. The studio later confirmed the news in a press release, teasing an opportunity for fans to encounter the character during the event.
Guests whose “only wish is to meet Nikki” could find themselves face-to-face with the character while exploring the darkened streets of the theme park.
Nikki joins Halloween Horror Nights
Halloween Horror Nights described Nikki as “the latest victim of the One Wish Willow’s terrifying curse”, highlighting the character’s lack of control over the supernatural events that unfold in Obsession.
In the film, Bear uses the supernatural One Wish Willow to make his co-worker Nikki fall in love with him. However, the wish strips Nikki of her autonomy and sets off an increasingly disturbing chain of events.
Universal has not yet revealed exactly how guests will encounter Nikki during Halloween Horror Nights. Her inclusion, however, is expected to extend the film’s storyline into the live event.
The appearance also gives fans an opportunity to experience a character from Obsession outside the film and within Universal’s immersive Halloween celebration.
Obsession becomes a box office success
Written and directed by Curry Barker and released by Focus Features, Obsession became a major box office success despite reportedly having a production budget of around $750,000.
According to information provided by Attractions Magazine, the film has grossed more than $458 million worldwide.
The movie follows Bear after his wish for Nikki to love him is granted by the One Wish Willow. What initially appears to be a simple desire soon develops into a disturbing horror story.
Nikki’s journey will now continue at Universal Studios Hollywood as part of the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights event, bringing the character directly into the immersive world of the theme park.
