According to the PMD, the prevailing weather conditions for Saturday, March 23, 2024, suggested predominantly dry weather across most parts of the nation. However, upper regions experienced partly cloudy skies during the daytime. In specific areas, including Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, central and southern Punjab, and northern Balochistan, as well as the Potohar Region, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan, isolated instances of light rain, wind, or thunderstorms were recorded during the evening and night.

Over the past 24 hours, rainfall was reported in various regions, with notable occurrences in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, northeast Punjab, and Bagrote. The recorded rainfall figures include Pattan with 8mm, Balakot with 6mm, Garhi Dupatta with 5mm, and Murree with 3mm, among others. Additionally, maximum temperatures recorded on March 23, 2024, peaked at 39°C in locations such as Chhor and Mithi, while several other areas, including Hyderabad, Sibi, Turbat, Lasbella, and Tando Jam, saw temperatures reaching 38°C.

Looking ahead to March 24, 2024, the PMD forecasts a continuation of dry weather in most parts of the country. However, for Northeast Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, and surrounding hilly areas, there is a likelihood of light rain, wind, or thunderstorm activity occurring at isolated locations.
